Whoooooa. Facebook was sharing old posts with me, and it showed me THIS thing.

This was one of the first drawings I ever created with an art tablet, and is also one of the ONLY drawings that I didn't upload as a wee twelve-year-old. I was one of those kids who uploaded EVERYTHING. Sometimes I would get so impatient to share what I was drawing, that I would upload several WIPs of something as I created it. x'D

I'm not sure what art program this was drawn in, because I vaguely remember that it was one of those things 'Bamboo Dock' would let you use. Like, a program so tiny, I couldn't figure out how to save stuff in it, so I just screenshot it.

This is supposed to be my old dog, Jake, btw. At the time of drawing this, I'd given him away not even a year ago when having to move out of the country. I loved that dog like mad. Really, like crazy. I drew him ALL the time, for years and years.

Morbidly enough, this was probably drawn just a month or two before I got the news that he had died by getting hit by a car. I had just learned that we would be moving back to our hometown, and I was super excited to maybe visit his new owners so that I could see him again. Funny, how life likes to smack you in the gut right when you feel really happy about the future. Little did kid-me know that, that was only the first of many times that my life would take that kind of turn.

...That took a dark turn. 0_0 Oops.

Please don't comfort me in the comments, Jake died years ago. I'm actually sharing this because I think it's really funny how much my art has changed. :')
