Basically, whenever I get with a group of fellow Middleschoolers I realize how different I am from all of them. I feel the same way, man, but mine is a bit different.
Whenever I try to normally walk up to a group of people to try and join in on a conversation or just say hi, everyone stares at me awkwardly or tells me 'it's nothing'. The same thing happens whenever I'm normally talking, too.

Oh, huh.. I feel like most artists I know on here are awkward and have weird social lives. I think it's an artist thing? It seems to go for most of us anyways.

I feel the same way when I walk into school.
Kids in my classes are so rough and slightly dumb. I called probably half my class a goldfish(yes I do go all Mycroft sometimes.) and some of them doesn't even get what that means, let alone what show it is from. They listen to alot of rap music and junk, always want a girlfriend or boyfriend. And isn't into a fandom thing, they use slang all the time(which it makes me seem smarter to adult when I talk with such proper language. ). The only time I'm little bit loud is when Im with one of my friend, I'll falcon punch him and then he'll push, no big deal.
My librarian is one of the coolest people at are school.He says that he is a time lord, and I look forwad to going to the library.
In conclusion, I am a very weird kid in "normal people"'s eyes, a very insane person in a sane world, or just a young Sherlock, eithet ways I'm cool with it.

Yep, I totally agree. Because I don't want to look like I'm 'Ooooh I'm sooo much better than the rabble' or anything, I don't really boast it out loud. I mean, how exactly am I supposed to say: "You guys are being really dumb right now, why in your right mind would you do that?" Without sounding like I'm trying to be superior? I don't know.... Sometimes when I'm with a group of girls they say something like 'I dare you to text your ex' or stuff like that. And I'm sitting there like... Getting boyfriends really is just a game to you guys. You don't need them, you don't need to get married yet. You're just sort of--I dunno--getting them. And losing them. All. Of. The. Time.

I never really got to concept of dating in Middle School. They just say they are going out then they aren't then they are going out withΒ different people. And people call other a whole rainbow of horrible names. And they pick on the one who are not as dumb as them.
So when I'm at school I only try to associate with people who are like me or are just outcasts of the normal groups, or the slightly insane one.( I only got 4 friends and oneΒ of them is leaving, so I'm pretty upset.)
Also my parents have to force me to be around others and to "interact", but I don't really do it that much.Β

Agreed. It really sucks, and if a Homeschooler who isn't even in Public School anymore can tell... It's bad. I was in PB School up until the 3rd Grade, and by the 3rd Grade I had moved schools three times (not counting Kindergarten, because that school was terrible so I was pulled out and Homeschooled shortly after entering) because we move around so much. With each new school I hated it more and more. I was bored, scared easily, picked on for being different (and nerdy), etc. I'm so glad that I was pulled out because by the 3rd Grade I didn't have a single friend in that particular school. I was nervous ALL of the time, and just, well. It was really bad. I never want to go back. Especially now that I'm older, kids wouldn't only be picking on me, but they would be cussing and stuff too. I guess I'm just not willing to be the outcast of a bunch of kids.

My dad wants me to be homeschool but it's too late now(kinda.)
I didn't have to move to different schools, but I have alot of friend problems. That's why I really don't want to be around people, and the friends I got now are kinda boring sometimes. Except for one.
But most of the people I had are liars, deceitful, or just plain ol mean. But I also got picked on a lot. I would get physically bullied alot in elementary, but now I just get verbally bullied. So I try to drive people away, it works but it makes me a target sometime.(I do scratch people.) Β

Aw... I don't think it's too late. Not at all, actually. I had an Internet friend who was always the outcast at her school, picked on for what shows she liked and stuff. It was to the point that she started to hide that she even liked certain stuff that she actually REALLY liked. Because her supposed friends would pick on her about it, think she was weird. So at some point in either late Middleschool or early Highschool she finally pulled out and began to Homeschool, and everything has been great since then. If you can, Pinky, I would really recommend it. It'll feel weird at first but you would soon come to love it.
And I know what you mean... Most of the friends that I had in Elementary would actually gossip about me and stuff behind my back.

I know, I understand... It's hard at first. When I first started to Homeschool in the 4th Grade, it felt wrong somehow. Because I was at home all of the time, I didn't have to get up early or go be in a building full of kids I didn't know (or like, really. I love making friends but these kids picked on me, verbally. And I think that verbal bullying is much worse for me). But eventually I got used to it.
