Description Name: Kevin Theodore Baxley
Age: 24
Gender: Male
Height: 5'2''
Parents: Unknown/complicated
Nationality: American/Chinese (he isn't aware of his Chinese side, due to never having known his parents. He's always wondered, though)

FUN FACT: He stutters constantly.

FUN FACT #2: His scarf is an heirloom from his mother, though he can't clearly remember receiving it. It's a stress object to him, and if he isn't wearing it, he feels naked/unprotected and tends to freak out if someone tries to take it from him. Due to this, he wears it aaaall year.

Remember this ANCIENT, CRUSTY, TERRIFYINGLY WONKY thing?: clockwork-jack.deviantart.com/…

*Shudders* Yeah... this is that guy, but 10x better thanks to improved art skillz, and about a million years of RP's with Sunstreak2000 . Who knew role-playing your character with other people's characters would actually give them a fricken personality like oH MY GOSH--

*Coughs*

Kevin's character has pretty much stayed the same since I was 14, but the difference is, he has an actual back story now. And more of a future story, if I can call it that...?

*INHALES*

This li'l guy here was abandoned at about three years old to the foster care system, and he never really wound up with a loving home like the movies show. In all honesty, Kevin needed more attention than other kids, and most people just didn't feel like adopting a kid so timid and--well--fragile. Due to neglect, Kevin didn't really speak until age five, and things only seemed to get worse as he was tossed from home to home. He was always a silent, terrified kid--a mouse compared to the other kids at school. He was never able to handle social situations very well, and was never able to handle even mildly traumatic things that a normal person can just bounce back from.

This ended up creating more than an aversion to scary movies, though. By the time he reached high school it was clear that he wasn't exactly the pinnacle of mental health, but without any actual parents to get him any serious help, and with most people just assuming he was "just being a teenager", things only worsened as he aged. He'd spend his entire life so far just wanting to escape from reality, and that was finally happening--but not in the ideal way.

At age twenty one, Kevin was diagnosed with DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder), after being found wandering around the street and sent to a professional. He was dirt poor, wasn't in college, and couldn't keep a job. With every new crappy job he snagged, he was eventually fired for misbehavior--which made zero sense, since Kevin was the most obedient, tragic shrimp you ever did see. What Kevin didn't yet fully understand, was Eugene.

Eugene is his second personality, and Kevin's exact opposite. While Kevin is innocent and quiet, Eugene is murderous and obnoxiously loud. While Kevin is a baby when it comes to pain, Eugene seems to enjoy it, and seeks it out--whether he's inflicting it upon himself, or others. Eugene, despite technically being Kevin, eventually brings Kevin's life as low as it can go--until he's jobless out on the street with no one willing to hire him. Kevin himself is thoroughly confused until he's told that he has DID--explaining why he was unexpectedly fired from every job due to various versions of misbehavior he never has any memory of.

Skip to a few years later, when Kevin/Eugene is 24. Kevin is sitting on a park bench one day, having a sadly routine mental breakdown, when the stranger next to him asks if he's alright. Kevin does a whole lot of his usual stuttering, trying to explain that he's kind of in the middle of keeping his mind from tearing apart, when lo' and behold, a certain Eugene pops up and attacks said stranger.

That stranger is Terrance, owned by Sunstreak2000 . (Ref sheet here: sunstreak2000.deviantart.com/a… )

LONG STORY SHORT, they actually end up getting along just fine, and Terrance lets Kevin stay with him out of pity(?) or the goodness in his heart or something like that. Eugene is definitely a problem, especially since he enjoys targeting Terrance in particular, but they sloooowly start to help each other (Kevin and Terrance I mean) in the right direction. There's... like... five books worth of role-plays between Sunstreak2000 and I to make that sound cooler, but y'know, I'm lazy.

BUT ALSO, Kevin ends up having a certain Hannah Montana Charlotte as his girlfriend. (Ref (of sorts) here: sunstreak2000.deviantart.com/a… ) She too is owned by Sunstreak2000 , because idk why you thought I was original enough to come up with awesome stories alone.

There's also waaaay more detail on that, but it's late, and I'm tired, and I have school tomorrow, so I'm stopping here for now.

The real question is, should his scarf be as long as it was in the old ref'...

Also, you can read up on DID here: allpsych.com/journal/did/#.VWZ… But DISCLAIMER: Kevin is NOT an accurate representation of real people with real DID, and he is not meant to be! Kevin is Fictional DID, with realistic roots, but extremely unrealistic events. Just putting that out there so no one gets offended or anything. ; )
