Description
WE DID IT. WE'RE OVER 150. WHOOOOAA.I might take requests or something to celebrate. Or possibly host a contest, if anybody thinks they'll join. (The end of the school-year really isn't the best time to host a contest. xD)
Within the past couple of months, I've begun to gain Watchers faster than before. At least two to four a month, which might not sound like much to those who already have a few hundred--but it feels/looks like a lot to me. More importantly--it began to happen right as I began to really, really work hard at improving my art by trying out different styles, creating comics, actually drawing fan-art for stuff I like, etc. So, it means a lot to me that right as I began to feel more confident in my work, other people seemed to approve of it. :')
On another note, this was drawn a couple weeks ago, when I got my hair dyed. I was waiting for the perfect time to upload it, but due to my internet being absent for so long, it ended up a bit late. Oops.
Thank you all for the feedback, fun, and inspiration. After over three years of being on deviantart, it's pretty crazy that I still know some of the same people from way back when--and that I'm still meeting new ones, every week. Thank you! Keep on being awesome!
Have a purple Jack-Deer~

Fun fact: I have never used a party popper. They aren't a thing in America, for some bizarre reason.
Heh, yeah. xD

Just a loud pop, like a baloon. There's a small amount of gunpowder that is lit by the friction of the string when you pull it XD

Ohhh, cool. :0
Do you have those little explosive thingies in Australia, that are these TINY little sacks of gunpowder? You throw them at the ground and they make a pop noise, with a little spark and a tiny bit of smoke? They're very small--like, smaller than a key on your keyboard, I think.

" Independence Day "? OH RIGHT. That American holiday thing XD
We only have firecrackers, the ones you light on the floor and they explode, but they're illegal XD

Pffft, yeah. America is most well known for it's Independence Day (or as Americans call it 'the 4th Of July') but other countries have them to. I suppose Australia isn't in the mix. xD
Really? Interesting. o_o

OHHH Independence day is the 4th of July? With all the Fireworks and Celebrations and Festival thingies? We have Australia Day?? XD
Yeah, I once saw someone put a lit one on the path in the park and just walk off, I didn't know what to do XD

Ohh, yes! The day America got its independence from England (I mean, it's more complicated than that, but I'm not gonna teach a history class right now xD). TECHNICALLY it's called 'Independence Day', but nobody says that. We all just say 'The Fourth Of July', and everyone knows what you're talking about.
Anyways, the 4th of July is our independence day, where everyone gets together with their families to cook/eat super unhealthy American food, and watch fireworks. x'D Usually my family lights off our own fireworks, and then watches the ones that come up from the nearby football stadium--which are the city fireworks. So... Yeah. It's one of our big holidays. And you usually see lots of terrified animals running away from the fireworks.
I'm guessing Australia Day is the same thing, for Australia? x"D What do you guys do?
Huh. o_o Like, they didn't even stay to enjoy it? Weird.

OOOH. Fireworks are illegal except with a permit here XD
Australia Day is a Public Holiday where customarily you would have a barbecue with lamb and watch the footy but I just do homework and draw XD
Well it was illegal so they wouldn't want to be seen but yeah, it was weird ;n;
