Totally Tubular!Steampunk Jewelry meet Cyberpunk Jewelry meet Hardware Art.. or something
so I managed to clean up some vacuum tubes and create this necklace out of the best of the tubes I had. Why did i have tubes ? gods and green fish might know... I can't remember.
So this particular tube is only a bit over 5cm long - just about 2 inches. I decided to make a chain for it - using various bits of standard, modern hardware - but I think it works. It's kind of nice to make something that isn't clock/ watch related. I've posted it up at etsy.. and its had an amazing amount of hits in a day. dunno what that was all about.
I suspect it will sell soon
anyway, I gotta make a post here - probably tomorrow.

beautiful. I love the chain. you did a fantastic job. And yes it is always nice to see steampunk that doesnt rely heavily on the clockwork look, or fall almost completely into the victorian aspect.
