Will we get more of a backstory for Ms. Notch in volume four? I know we saw her as a young maid, but she was upgraded when she was older. Will we get to see when she or Mr. CroachΒ were first upgraded?

Does it fall under the same category as "Live Taxidermy", or is that a separate skillset entirely? I remember that being one of the courses in Hollow Fields, and in a weird way that's something I might've been able to really get into; if I were a part of that world and my moral compass were broken in a way that could facilitate such actions, of course. Part of Hollow Fields' name is "Ethically Unfettered", as I'm sure you know, so I'll just assume most of their moral compasses are just a bit shonky, prior to Hollow Fields' reformation for using the Mad Sciences for GOOD at the end of Volume 3.
