Tasted
Like a Rembrandt

I was so stunned
That when no one was looking

Tried this
I walked up to the same painting
And before the curator
Could take it off the wall
I stuck out my tongue
And licked
My taste buds
Recoiled
And the flavor of lead
Stayed in my mouth
For weeks
I guess
