I like this, it is stylized enough that you really don't have to worry too much about certain details while still having the cool factor.
Once again like usual I have to give props fir having a background. There really isn't much to say without going into the design itself.
It's simple and you avoid a lot of the overly edgy pitfalls that some art falls into. If this character was written in a lighter style or in a different light I can easily see it working pretty well regardless.
I will say this is easily one of your most complicated works and it turned out pretty well.
