I like how the books sort of pop out and create a pattern over the top of the overall image, but they still kind of recede into the background so they fit in the scene. If you ever go back to this, you might consider lowering the saturation of the faraway books even more to push that feeling of space. Is there a story behind the crow-things? =o

I might do that, thanks! There's kind of a story behind the whole illustration, the girl's some kind of inhuman entity and the crow-things are her buddies. They all live under a city in an endless junkyard where they "sort" things into a chaotic system only they understand, and the crows sometimes go above to steal stuff from people.

Don't get me wrong, I love colors, but I always find them so fruuuuuuustrating and I am all sorts of unhappy with the colors and light in this especially :c. Also I like to complain. Augh. Coloring's haaaaard.
