While making this I was just doing it how I saw fit. But now looking back, I realize the C4D design kinda looks like something ToolDesigns made a long time ago, it isn't uploaded on DeviantART however. This comes from way back...Related content

I like the top one.. but the shadow on those black.. things.. makes it look almost like an unfocused picture or something... idk

Hot broski. Maybe a few clipping masks to help blend the C4d a little. Second is my fave except for the shines, try changing those a little.

yeah, the thing is looking a bit empty. Also, the c4d might look better curled around or in-between the focal point, no?

Middle one looks really nice, not to keen on the others, but the lighting is done NICELY. 
The border looks good too, and the blending and depth is pretty nice.
