Description
Name: Hannah IshiroAge: 120
Height: 5"11
Weight: 129 lbs
Eye Colour: Blue
Hair Colour: Silver
Skin Colour: Caucasian
Species: Half-elf
Theme song: "God Help the Outcasts" from the Hunchback of Notre Dame [link] Also "Fina's Theme" from Skies of Arcadia [link]
Likes: The arts (music, dance, song), dogs, snow, celebrations
Dislikes: Getting hurt, bugs, crowded areas
Fears: Being alone, deep water, never being reunited with her love
Weapons: None, though Hannah still remembers some self-defense techniques that Genki taught her. She won't fight if she can help it, however, preferring to talk/pity her way out of a situation. It hurts her pride, but there's not much else she can lose.
Powers/Abilities: All half-elves can use magic, though it far more unstable than other races. Instead of natural magic like elves have, this kind is warped from the addition of non-magical human blood. While powerful, it's wildly unpredictable, and can spin out of control if Hannah is tired, or uses more energy than she can handle. It can easily kill her if she doesn't get a grip in time...
Bio: Hannah was born in a small village in the nation of Luziera, to a human mother and elven father. While these two races are often found living in the same places, it is seen as taboo for them to actually bear children. Originally this was because the two races are related enough to breed, but still too far apart for a child to live stably. While older folks tolerated Hannah, knowing it was through no fault of her own, she was the target of scorn for many children her age.
One day, while being picked on, they started beating her up, and Hannah's magic began to awaken. It's quite possible she would have died that day, be it from the bullies or her magic going out of control, if it wasn't for an older boy stepping in and fighting the others off.
This boy was an elf named Genki (Who later grew up to be THIS [link] ), and from that day on the two became inseparable. Genki studied various fighting styles not just for the sake of fighting, but to defend Hannah from bullies, and Hannah leaned how to stand up for herself and control her magic so she could be all right if Genki wasn't around.
Decades later (elves and half-elves having long life spans), the two friends started getting closer than being "just friends," and Genki proposed marriage. Elf customs in this case are slightly different than human weddings, as first there is a proposal, then a year of both people traveling of on their own. This is meant so that it's certain the two want to be together after seeing what else the world has in store.
A year passed... and Hannah never returned to the village. Her funds ran out, and no one wanted to hire a half-elf when human strength or a full elf's control over magic was needed. And the postal system of a world just coming out of medieval times is hit-or-miss at best. She resorted to living off the street for as long as she could, making her way between towns, trying to find her only friend and her true love.
Artist's Notes: Hannah is a character idea I've had in my head for a while... though she was nothing more than "Genki's lost fiancee" for a LONG while. But I realized that I didn't want her to be a generic damsel in distress for his story, or god forbid... the cliche chick. XP
Hannah is (or I hope will become) someone who while having lost everything dear to her, stays strong while trying to regain the things she cares about most. If you have any questions about her or her story, please feel free to ask me. ^^

She seems really cool, the only thing I recommend maybe make the chins a little shorter and a bit more rounded. But yet again cool character x3

Damn! Her magic is intense, yet she doesn't see that as admirable, she still has a low self-esteem.
Funny how an outsider can point out abilities better than the one wielding them sometimes. Sure is a sad story, she had some great abilities but was simply rejected for species reasons... I hope things get better for her.
