"Yum Drop is Radiant Rainbow's older sister. As a foal, Yum Drop was jealous of all the attention that Rainbow got from her family and neighbors. She never invited Rainbow to play with her friends because she knew that Rainbow would instantly become the center of attention. Things stayed this way until one day, she noticed a mean pegasus named Smolder Dash picking on Rainbow. 'Everypony says you're hot stuff,' Smolder was saying, 'but you can't even fly! And I hear you can't do magic, either! You're really just a loser!'
In that moment, Yum Drop suddenly felt angry. Without fully knowing why, she stormed over, stood between Smolder and Rainbow, and said, 'Go away, Smolder.'
Smolder grinned cruelly. 'Ooh, I'm so scared! Whatcha gonna do? Go tell your mommy? You're such a baby.'
'Better to be a baby than a bully,' said Yum Drop. 'At least I don't have to tear other ponies down to feel good about myself.'
Smolder was shocked. Nopony had ever talked back to him like that before. 'Y-yeah, well, I don't have to take this from you! I'm outta here!'
As Smolder flew off, Rainbow turned to Yum Drop and said, 'Thanks, but why did you come help me? You usually act like I don't exist.'
Yum Drop shrugged. 'I didn't realize how hard it must be to have everypony paying attention to you all the time, and to have wings and a horn without the perks that usually come with them. But I think I understand now. From now on, let's stick together.'
Rainbow smiled. 'Yeah!'"

Perhaps the longest backcard story I've ever written. In any case, I based this pony on goody gumdrops ice cream, a flavor specific to New Zealand that has a light green bubblegum flavored base with gumdrops mixed in. I haven't had the privilege of tasting it yet, but it's on my bucket list.
