Squirrel stop motion puppet! And steps!

Long story short, I started out with a basic sketch of the puppet, keeping it to scale and adding a colored "skeleton" inside to see where to add wires and how to cut them. T-nuts were added to each paw for tie-downs and these plus the wires were attached with a two part epoxy putty.

Once the skeleton was complete, I used the sketch from earlier to consider the right proportion of foam which was then wrapped/shaped with athletic tape. The athletic tape was covered with a faux fur transfer using rubber cement and the face was sculpted with Super Sculpey and taxidermy glass eyes. Then one bad fur cut later, bam, a squirrel!
