Description
This is another Christmas gift to a friend who adores all native flora and fauna. I will be framed with the pair of lorikeets that I stitched earlier. I adore possums as they are adorable and very adaptable. We used to get quite the fright at uni when you found one scrabbling in a bin during the evening. This piece was completed over a week and contains quarter, whole and back stitching.

I was thinking it'd be the Possum Magic illustration too...I've been tricked! :'( It's still awesome though.

It would be neat if it was from Possum Magic, but alas no patterns that I know of. Thank you for all the support and the favourites and by the way don't frett about the high tea. We will do one at the Stamford one day.

Your welcome... you don't frame them yourself?

I don't frame myself as I don't really trust myself to.

It's not nearly as difficult as they would have you believe & it'd save you a fortune

Most likely. I spend a bucket on framing, in particular the large bits of art I brought home.

They are naughty little scamps. I have this amusing mental image of a pack of possums carting away this huge cake, cartoon style.

When I was a child, we had one that lived under the front porch. My mother told me I would feed it bread I like them too, and your project turned out great.

Yep, that's the name of the animal. They are really interesting sorts of characters and are about the size of a cat.
