It's been a decade but doing this still made me tear up a lot, I finally have some of the ability to actually color/draw him proper now and it was wild to see him 'come back' as it were.
Miss this old man. Best cat. Looking back he had too much responsibility for such an old gent. Couldn't ever tell he was old by how he acted. And my favorite memory is still when he would tell me to go to bed:
I'd only get one warning meow.
Then he'd ever so carefully tap me on the thigh ( or the ass when my chair had a hole by the butt) with his claws and TELL ME to GO TO BED, NOW!!!!
Bedtime was 11:30pm without fail. Then he'd crawl into bed with me and let me use him like a stuffed animal. I only got 3 years with him (he was 10/11 when we got him) but it was great <3. Can't thank my Fred Meyer's Deli co-worker enough for finding him, and placing him with me and my son, for helping me with the vet bill and the pet deposit because she cared about him as much as we did and he wasn't happy around other cats but he was perfect around me and my son. <3
