Description
Maltese/Poodle mix. she's only 11weeks old now. We've never had a puppy this young.
Buttons will never replace the hole left by Lily just like Lily could not replace Shadow or OJ. As a family, we have a lot of love, and resources to give. She had kennel cough when we picked her up and a complete round of antibiotics cleared it up. She didn't know how to run on the grass or on our shag rug. Now she goes hard for an hour and then naps. Much like a baby. We're starting another journey.
( now if she'd hold still so I could clean her face up good! XD)

Aww, congratulations on the new family member! She's adorable! Make "clean face" time a game, as with her breeds, it will be a good daily practice!Β
*Sit*
*Wait*
Once those are mastered add
"Okay, Clean Face Time!" and wipe off her whole face and then give a reward, like a treat or a kiss or a toy. If you do it in a certain place each time, it help cement the routine!
We do this with "Wet Dog Time!!" The pup knows to run over to the bathroom doorway (the dog designated towel is inside) Β and wait to be toweled off - three times, and then we are done!Β

yeah, we're working on it! She super adorable. XD.
managed to train my labrador to give me each/every paw in turn after she'd go outside to go potty or play and it was muddy. "Paw! ... now the Other One!" "standUP!" and she's lift each of her back paws in turn. Only when wet/dirty though and if I was holding the towel. Which was the whole point anyways XD.

Yup - and if there's water or mud, a Lab will find it!
