Why do I draw all these martial artist looking characters fffff-

Another old piece I recently pulled myself to finish up. It was my first attempt at making a background, and it was rough. It got to a point where I was trying too hard to make it look too good and just stopped entirely. The character art's been sitting there for a while.

Lost myzself trying to fill in the background that I eventually just gave up and threw brushes on screen until it looked somewhat decent. That's probably why the tree[?] ended up so... not tree-ish, but eh!
