Cloud Strife...I see him as a strong character who sacrifices everything for his friends regardless of the dangers and consequences that he will face soon after. He prefers to suffer alone, in place for those who he loves... My favourite Cloud Srife quote is: "No-body is perfect...that is until you love them..." Cloud was seen by Tifa as a person...running away, afraid to fight...(In FFVII AC) Cloud always looks up to others and feels that he always has room for improvement. Cloud is a very strong person but can show weakness. His personalities are one of the features for why fangirls (like myself) are overly obsessed with him. I refer to Cloud as The Solitary One although he is surrounded by wonderful people like Tifa, Marlene and Denzel. In the movie FFVII AC, Cloud was first seen as a hurt and isolated person, living alone in a half crumbled church. But in the end, he steps forward again to protect the innocent, and of course his friends (often referred to as family). The question that some of us ask is "Who is the REAL CLoud? Strong and powerful physically? or Strong and powerful Mentally?" I recently bought the Final Fantasy Advent Children Limited Edition Collector's set which includes a 2nd disc with the feature: Final Fantasy: The Last Order. In this anime feature, Sephiroth pierces Cloud's body with his sword (masamune). But Cloud was strong and managed to urge out some of his remaining energy to toss Sephiroth. (Sorry if I spoilt the feature). So CLoud is a person with ALOT of potential and determination. I guess that's why I love him....tee hee hee
