Lauren and I are heading out the door to go to Comic Con in just a few. I thought I'd drop a little update to let you all know where I'll be, just in case you want to say hi.
Saturday, July 14 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. (Room: 5AB) ---We'll be at the Disney Channel Television Animation Panel to talk about our upcoming show WANDER OVER YONDER and premiere a SPECIAL SNEAK PEEK produced just for Comic Con.
Saturday July 14, 2012 5:00pm - 6:00pm @ Sails Pavilion ---Then Lauren and I will be SIGNING AUTOGRAPHS. Come on by and pick up a WANDER OVER YONDER PROMO POSTCARD and we'll be happy to sign it for you.

WANDER OVER YONDER Emmy-winning producer Craig McCracken, among the most sought-after talent in TV animation, is the creator/executive producer of Disney Channel's upcoming Wander Over Yonder, an animated comedy series about best friends and epic enemies, set in surreal places across the universe. Wander is an overly-optimistic intergalactic traveler who, along with his loyal but bullish steed, Sylvia, goes from planet to planet helping people to live free and have fun, all against the evil reign of Lord Hater and his army of Watchdogs. The voice cast includes Jack McBrayer (30 Rock, Phineas and Ferb), Keith Ferguson (Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends) and Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants). McCracken created the Emmy-winning series The Powerpuff Girls and produced a feature film based on it. He also created the hit series Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, which also won him an Emmy Award. Prior to creating his own shows, McCracken directed Dexter's Laboratory and worked on a variety of shows for Hanna-Barbera. Wander Over Yonder is a production of Disney Television Animation.

Why did you decide to leave Cartoon Network after Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends ended?

Because they wanted a 7th ppg season he was like no we don't want to destroy t when it's good, also the changes to cn thanks to stuart snyder introduce live action shows caused certain writers and animators to quit or be laid off and good shows to be canceled like billy and Mandy fosters ect to be replaced by level up Johnny test and regular show

Sounds like a really cool cartoon! Do you still see or talk to Genndy Tartakovsky? You two made a great team with Powerpuffs Girls and Dexter's Lab! Those are my favorites from the golden CN era.

As someone who's been watching your work since that otherwise forgettable Sunday afternoon in the mid-1990s, when I first saw one of the first Powerpuff Girls shorts on the TNT Network, and also when I first saw saw the initial drawings on your page, I have had very high expectations for the Wander Over Yonder project....Heck, I've been checking the Disney XD site for updates regarding airdate when you subtlely mentioned that your next project was for Walt Disney Television.
Anyhoo, I wish you best of luck...I just regret that I couldn't be at the Con this weekend, but since we're pathetically understaffed at my job.....

I wish I could come, but I fortunately didn't register soon enough and all the tickets are sold out. I'll be watching the new show as soon it premieres and stay dedicated for each episode, I hope to see you and Lauren at next year’s Comic Con, or any other convention in California till then.
