I love building LEGO so much. There's just something so soothing about looking for bricks and piecing an idea together. To paraphrase Attack of the Clones Anakin: "Life seems so much simpler when you're building things."Just wanted to build something today, and I wanted to build the High Ground scene from Revenge of the Sith since I like it so much, so that's exactly what I built.
Wish I had a bunch more specialized pieces and stuff, but still, I think I did really well for just having a bunch of random more generic parts.
Used my 2005 Anakin and Obi Wan figures (with chrome lightsaber hilts!). While I could've used the more recent ones from the duel on Mustafar set (or whatever it was called. The little square one.), I just really like the more simplistic design of the older figs. I like the newer figs too, but there's something so charming about the minimalistic design of the originals. Also would've used the light up Anakin & Obi-Wan figs from the Ultimate Lightsaber Duel set, but since they had capes on them I decided against using them.
I really want to get more old Star Wars minifigs to add more fine additions to my collection.
Anywho, hope whoever's seeing this has a wonderful whenever they're seeing this!
(And yes, I think the title of this post was genius.)
