First and foremost on her mind was still Ayame. Nothing had changed in regards to the two sides of her battling for dominance. The situation remained volatile. To make matters more worrisome, she felt her goddess closer than ever before. The nine tailed kitsune deity was focusing all her attention on this temple lately. In light of the events in the north and the nature of the nine tails as a trickster goddess, this was a somewhat troubling development. While it was one thing to worship a goddess and ask for her blessing, there are few stories of direct divine intervention that have a happy ending for mortals.
