So to make up for missing last week (oops) I buckled down and did five extra pages this week for a total of seven! I'll upload two tonight, two tomorrow, and the rest on Sunday. c: My goal was mainly just to get to the point of Simon waking up rather than a specific number of pages and that really helped my get into it, I think. I also did A LOT of experimenting and realised my font doesn't need to be so gigantic. I have no idea why I was so worried about it being too small??? It starts to get smaller on the next page and by the last few it's at a hopefully manageable size. c: I also tried out a few different background and shading and whatnot techniques, trying to find something efficient and good looking.

SPEAKING OF GOODLOOKING THO. Silverfox, who is blue font man, came out looking better than I really meant for him to. xD I totally love his design. He and candledeer are gonna get a spin off or something. I wanted to get a colored shot at some point but it just kind of doesn't meld well with the style. Ah well. someday I am gonna draw him. He, candledeer, and possibly even Shrikelady are now officially canon in Ouroboros

Fun fact! Silverfox was originally going to be Redfox. I changed it because I realised that both Mira and Moria (for her one single upcoming line) had red font and another character who is a bit more important to the story will have orange font. The name Redfox, and actually all the characters shown here and given names ((other than Shrikelady, who was made before this comic even came about)) was supposed to be something of a reference/homage to the Mother West Wind books. Candledeer was Candle-lightfoot
