Traits: Quick to anger and jump to conclusions. She likes to rampage around Ponyville whenever people piss her off.

Bio: When Void gets seriously pissed or depressed, this is what she turns into. To bring her size into perspective, envision Twilight's library. Abyss is about 1.5x that tall. The result of a curse, Abyss bears little of a resemblance to Void and is covered with strange, gradient markings that glow very slightly in the dark.

Void's mother (Poison Ivy) was cursed while she was pregnant for not being able to pay a witchdoctor for the healing spell that saved her life. The curse would only affect her first born filly. The curse went something like this:

"For your lack of pay
This day
My heart burns with a fire
That constrains your desire.

I will twist your young
With a white fire tongue
So that the first to see the night
Will bear this curse's might

Woe to you young mare
As space and time have taught me only to be fair
You may yet regret coming to me
To try and preserve your glee."

Unable to bear the guilt of what she had done to her child's future, she sought the help of Zecora. Zecora enchanted a necklace, crafted from platinum and precious gems with a spell to help Void control her new burden. Now sure that her daughter would be safe, once the baby was born, Void's mother ran away. She couldn't deal with the thoughts of Void losing control and the memory of the faithful night she received the curse.

Void's only memory of her mother is the necklace.
