My (as usual) last-minute entry in latest contest "All Grown Up."So, I've been feeling super nostalgic for the Goof Movies lately and because of that I really wanted to draw Max and Roxanne. Here I've depicted them many years later, happily married and with a teenage kid of their own. I know that Roxanne disappears without a trace in the sequel and Max was dating some other girl in one of those Christmas specials but SHHHHHHHHH!!!
Their daughter (actually I haven't come up with a name for. Maybe Madison? Maddie for short? Yeah, I like that. Lets go with that), Madison is stuck in the backseat on a long road trip. Being the angsty teen she is, Maddie is trying her best to ignore her parents, texting on her phone and whatnot. Suddenly some lame old song starts playing on the radio. Apparently, this was Mom and Dad's "Jam" back in the day and, to Maddie's dismay and disgust, they start (badly) singing along to it. This is going to be a loooooooong trip!

I might remake that one some time as it's not up to my standard now but I still like the idea.

Β Β This is wonderful. I love that they're going on a family road trip, I love that despite having a teenager of their own now, they're still teens at heart, and I especially love that Eye to Eye is their song. I am a little bit upset to see Roxanne has her hair cut short in this image, but I'll admit that that probably is at least partially because it reminds me too much of how An Extremely Goofy Movie and Mickey's Twice upon a Christmas paired him with two girls we'd never even seen before, both of which had short hair (that's the part that reminds me of them). I'll admit that I think you might've made Max resemble Goofy just a little bit too much as an adult, as in the sequel he was already at least 18 and generally the facial structure of someone at 18 is pretty much what it's always going to be, but that's a minor detail. All in all, I'd say that you did a great job here.
