Max and Roxanne are tying the knot! At the big day of the wedding, Roxanne's father is there to give her away... and stare down his so-to-be son-in-law.
Here's a little something I've been wanting to draw for a LONG time. Then announced their wedding contest. It's as if the stars aligned.
I wanted to make this simultaneously heartwarming and funny, which I feel is what the Goofy movies were all about. I also used this as a way of practicing composition.
I couldn't help but put in a butt load of cameos. I decided to go with the classic Disney cartoon characters to represent Goofy's generation and the Disney Afternoon era characters to represent Max's. Sort of a merging of generations, I guess. And yes, I modeled Roxanne's dress after the one she wore in Max's dream sequence 'cause it looked pretty.
The background isn't great and I don't feel it fits the picture, but I'm still learning to draw no living things so I guess it works for now.

Well, Morgana is more of a night person. And I already had to edit this to get Zipper in. If I keep adding characters, this pic is going to be overstuffed!

How did I forget! Anyway, it seems to be an all in one, focusing on Roxanne and Max, one of my favorite Disney couples! Wow! But there's also Mickey and Minnie, and Oswald and Ortensia, and Donald and Daisy! It actually looks like a scene from a wedding that I would personally go to, and I usually find them boring! Roxanne's father and Max is PRICELESS!Β Β

Uncle Scrooge looks happy, I think it looks like he wanna cry just a little of happiness. But it's nothing wrong with that! I like his expression. Who are the black and white characters on the same bench as Bonkers? I don't recognize them! Β (The woman have the pink hat and a flower, if you know what I'm talking about.)
And why is Donald so angry? Just wondering.

Yep, that's Pistol. Just had to include her.
The two black and white characters are Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and Ortensia the Cat. They were the "original" Mickey and Minnie/ the characters Walt Disney created before he made Mickey and Minnie. More info on them here: disney.wikia.com/wiki/Oswald_t⦠disney.wikia.com/wiki/Ortensia
Donald is angry because Huey, Dewy and Louie are acting up and making remarks about how good-looking Roxanne is. Also, its Donald, so he's always angry.
