Words Below:
Milo was a student at Magic Academy. He heard a story about a wizard who created her own enchanted forest. It was something he wanted to do someday. For his school project, he decided to grow his own plants. It was an important first step towards his goal.
When Milo went to the library, he checked out many books about growing plants and communing with nature. Some of the spells were way too advanced for his year but he studied them anyway. He thought the worst that could happen would be he was unable to cast the spell. However, far worse things could happen than a fizzled spell.
The spells for his project went fine. Milo was able to grow the plants he wanted. Some of the more complicated spells also went fine. Vines grew on the walls of his room. Some of the more complicated spells just fizzed as expected.
Then Milo came across a spell on communing with nature. Legends had it the spell was created by the same wizard who grew her own enchanted forest. He had to learn the spell.
Milo cast the spell several times. At first nothing happened. Then his entire environment changes. The walls of his room disappeared leaving only the vines that encircled him. The floor between a thick layer of soil. Trees grew all around him. The plants he grew for his project broke out of their pots and planted themselves in the soil.
A magical energy surrounded Milo. It swirled around him faster and faster as it absorbed energy from the newly created enchanted forest. It entered his body and started changing him from the inside. His body became fully female and he, or she, found herself at one with nature. Even her clothing changed to match something normally worn by the female students there.
She realized the name Milo no longer suited her. Molly was a much better name for her in her current condition. A bunch of magical animals appeared in the forest. She did not create them. They just decided to show up.
Molly called each of them by name and cast a wave of magical energy. Each of them in turn came forward and received the magical energy she gave them. Molly did not know if the world she had created was real or illusion or if the effects were temporary or permanent but she did know she had no way of finding out. Whatever the case, it was far from the worst thing that could have happened to her.
