Words Below:
John and Sam were students at Magic Academy. Both of them had to do a report on the history of Magic Academy. Instead of going to the library and doing research, they decided it would be easier to just go back in time and see the founding of Magic Academy for themselves. Being just first years they did not know how to cast a spell as powerful as time travel. However, they knew how to access time travel magic.
The school museum contained many magical items. One of them was a magic amulet which enabled the user and anyone around him to travel through time. At Magic Academy instead of something that could create an unsolvable paradox, time travel was just something they did for fun. Because of this security was light.
John convinced Sam that they needed to get the amulet. The museum had just a single guard and there were many magical items to guard. All they had to do was distract her.
"Look over there!" shouted Sam pointing in the other direction.
The guard looked where Sam was pointing. At the same time John grabbed the time travel amulet. Sam ran over to him. John set the amulet for the time when Magic Academy was founded and the two of them vanished. By the time the guard realized what had happened it was too late. She knew they would eventually return and when they did they would have to face the consequences of their actions.
John and Sam arrived in the year 1794 at the secret location of Magic Academy somewhere in the modern day United States. They had been given the appearance of people from that time so they would not disturb anything. Sam was a first year boy just like he was before. John, however, had become a first year girl.
"Samuel, Jennifer, there you are!" said an old man who looked like a teacher. "It is time to add the cornerstone to our new school."
Somehow, they had managed to build the entire building with one stone missing in the very corner. Samuel and Jennifer started to panic. Neither of them had the cornerstone. Clearly they had been entrusted with this one simple task, but neither of them knew how to do it. They would have to take the blame even though neither of them were at fault.
In the distance Samuel noticed a rectangular shaped block of stone that looked like it might be the cornerstone. He nudged Jennifer and then pointed to the stone. She was greatly relieved. They went off to get the stone. It was heavy and required both of them to lift it. They gave the cornerstone to the teacher.
He took the stone and placed it in the gap in the corner. Then he used magic to connect it to the rest of the building. The school was complete. Samuel and Jennifer would join the other students attending their first day and classes.
"We have seen enough," warned Samuel. "We should get out of here."
"Next we should go to when Magic Academy closes," suggested Jennifer. "I know our report is on the history of Magic Academy not the future of Magic Academy but we might be able to get extra credit."
Samuel was convinced. He was not going to turn down the chance to receive extra credit. Jennifer adjusted the amulet once more and the two of them went off into the future.
