Well, fortunately for Amenii, that is not Nera. That is the prototype character that led up to Nera. This one is a Kudar/human hybrid called Anna. And she has a long ling story behind her creation.

Oh.  That's right.  I remember seeing several drawings with her in them.  She's supposed to be a VERY large female hyena-like character.  (By large I mean tall.)

Yes, the species she is a hybrid of is called a Kudar, and the genome running thought her vanes is that of the Greater Kudar, largest of all the Kudar, a gen so potent that makes the beast the size of a great plains bear from prehistoric time. And yes, she is quite the large character, just don't let her catch you saying that within ear shot. She is very sensitive about her body.

Ah, you must be talking about the short-faced bear.  They were very large bears about 10+ feet (3+ meters) tall and close to a ton (tonne) in weight.

If I mentioned Anna's height to her, I'd also mention how beautiful she is BECAUSE of her height.  (Perhaps, that would defuse her sensitivity.)

Very good, I had forgotten that species, and me, whose favorite book as a child was 'Thunder Feet.' A great book, and with some short and catchy songs. 'Ooooh, who would care for a short faced bear...'

I suspect it would, as in her current predicament she has quite a few issues to deal with at present.
