Nasty critters, standing on two legs and are about the size of a hound, run like no ones business, bight, claw, and oh yeah, they breath fire like a flame thrower. As I said, Nasty.

Yeah, she is having a very bad day. That and her skirt got ripped too.

I know, she is having a bad first day. And, yes her boss, me, has been watching from afar wondering if I should step in and do something.
Technically she made it about sixty yards out, but due to all the zig-zag running the actual distance traveled is a bit harder to measure.

Jen meanwhile has taken up quite a new form if evasion, distracting and running to cover.

Jen bolting from the rock makes a b-line towards the nearest cactus, though hesitates as she sees the gleam of your weapon pointing at her. Emitting a shriek she dives and rolls making herself even more hard to hit than before.

Just......one......shot....*pulls the trigger and the claw launches out to her. It hooked to her and I activated the reel button* hang tight! *the rope reels in pulling her to me*

Rather than hanging tight Jenn begins to flail about like an ensnared flounder, grabbing into rocks, cacti, and even the hapless tail of a rad scorpion trying to escape. 'Haaaaaalp it's for meeeeeeee!' π: 0 β©: 1

The rad scorpion looks up at you sympathetically as it slips from Jens iron grip and clicks: Click click clllick click...
You can run off now *refering to the scorpion* no one here is going hurt ya. *holding onto Jenn i turn and made my way to the station*

The Rad Scorpion looks at you, looks at Jenn, then waiting for you to get about a twenty foot head start, begins to flow you as stealthily as a giant hound sized scorpion can. Whenever you look back it runs to the nearest cover, no matter how bad it may be. Still keeping up the pretense that you can not see it if it hides behind a cactus three times smaller than its body.
Jenn meanwhile rests like a limp sack in your arms.

Ok.... *i can hear the scorpion following but id ignore it for now. Then i look down at Jenn noticed she is asleep*

After several minutes of blissful unconsciousness Jenn wakes in your arms. 'What...Krecker, please tell me this is just a bad dream...'

The Rad scorpion still follows you diligently, now holding a cactus segment it has pulled free and is busy holding it over its head like a bush. Jenn, seeing the creature cracks a smile.

The rad scorpion still holding the cactus segment over its head clicks it's approval before remembering that is is still pretending to not be there.
