A long time ago, I had considered on doing a machinima comic book fan fiction series (try saying that five times fast) called "Battlestar Galactica: Odyssey." Over a decade ago, I posted a test image of the "cast" of characters, which one of the games I was going to use at the time was The Sims 2: www.deviantart.com/codebreaker…

Then, I did a test image to see if I could not only see if I could "green screen" a Sim into a live-action screen grab, but also see if I could make the image look a little bit hand drawn and to see if it could blend together without looking too out of place: www.deviantart.com/codebreaker…

Before I had done either, I had done a test comic as a means of trying out the program I got to make it called Comic Book Creator by Planetwide Games. This was back when I was originally considering on using "Battlestar Galactica: Born to Run" as the title for the series (thank god I decided not to go that route). And I had also had some ideas in that I eventually threw out (such as one of the characters being related to Laura Roslin and having had a relationship with Dualla at one point, as I realized that would have been ridiculous). I thought I had lost this comic, but while looking through some old USBs, I found it. I will admit, I kinda wish I hadn't gotten so busy to the point where I hadn't attempted this story, as I think it would have been an interesting side story to events shown in the show. And I had planned on incorporating several more elements from the original series to the RIS universe, including an explanation as to who really were pulling the strings of Angel Six and Angel Baltar, and offer an alternate explanation to the ending of the story. But alas, the series wasn't meant to be. I started to write out a treatment detailing the story, but only got to write out "Season 1", which you can read here: www.deviantart.com/codebreaker…

The primary reason for doing the test comic was to try out the program, so I came up with the story out of nowhere, and used screencaps to help tell it in addition to the screencaps from The Sims 2 and The Movies (which were both games I was considering on using, with some others in addition to that much later after I changed the name).
