So, here she is
<3 I was inspired by the fact that caged birds are very chipper and sing us beautiful songs, despite the fact they sit in a cage all day long.I drew her for the Art Contest taking place at Comic Con Okinawa this weekend. I'm happy she's finally finished. ^_^ I'm very proud of her.
oAo She took 4 hours to sketch and to do the lineart, and I think close to 15 hours to color. Long time, yo. I'm not very fast lol. Drawn/colored in SAI and a bit of editing/text in PS.

Your artwork has gotten better since the last time I seen it. This is some great color work.
If I can make a suggestion.
Would it be possible to go in and add slightly darker shadows on the skin and dress to make them pop out more.
Take for example the light to dark of the bars of the cage. There is more dramatic shadow change there and it pops just right.

xDD I thought so too. I did run out of time and have already printed this and turned it in.
However, for my own satisfaction, I'll probably mess with the contrast a bit and re-add in the darkest shadows so that it looks better with the background.
