Ira: Aww sweetie...where's your shirt?Tristan: *sets down the basket before setting his crutch aside, sitting down on the blanket* You destroyed the last one this morning.
Ira: *'innocently'* oh I did? For shame...I tell you what, if you give me a truffle, I'll get you some new shirts.
Tristan: *chuckles and leans in close* May I get a kiss too?
Ira: Chocolate first.
Tristan: *takes a truffle to his lips and leans in, his long lashes fluttering*
Ira: *smirks* Aww I suppose I can have some Tristan with my sweet

So another one done! Day 4 of the 30 Day OTP Challenge LIST ! ! ! ! and thus they went on a date! I opted for another picnic/outdoor scene and had a lot of fun with this. Even added a background cause why not! Tristan came out well and I think I'm finally settling on what scars to keep on him (the neck words, his wrist scars, etc). I have noticed that I'm drawing Ira with a lot of glamour. It makes sense: she is a rich Crime Boss and after leading such a hard life, she would take advantage of it. She also ends up little very feminine plus confident which is nice. I like it!

Hehe I ra has big lips so I'm not too bothered by it but oh yeah I noticed his forearm right after I posted it and ugh that bothers me the most. I hate drawing hands so I'll hide them as much as possible but his forearm is a shame. Something I may fix once I have the time.
Thank you for the reference and the tips! I feel like I have been improving on my art with each piece; this one was done with no references so even with the flaws, I'm actually kinda proud. Still a lot to work on but quite pleased. Thank you again for the comment!

hmmm. I don't even know how to define the mess that is Asher and Lears relationship- though Asher is more self destructive and wouldn't hurt usually.

Oh he does! All the time, but it's all mature content rated. Not only that but technically since she is the Boss of the Dante family, he has a 'sugar mama' so to speak. So all of his needs and most of his wants are met. He just needs to be behave.

Hehe the Dante crime family of which Ira is the leader. Behaving means doing whatever Ira wants, even if it means hurting himself or being hurt by her. Though he has his limits sometimes.
Yikes poor Asher! I guess I like how Lear and him compliment each other; he seems so glamorous and flamboyant while she is more grounded and practical. Every time your draw them they both contrast each other and yet I think they work well together. It's very sweet.
LOL you know, maybe! Their worlds differ but both Asher and Ira appear glamorous, and while Tristan is the dreamer he is very easy going and may get along with Lear. Interesting

Lear is sort of anxious and awkward while Asher is the out going confident attention seeker. He actively pursues attention negative or otherwise while Lear just sort of hangs back and hopes for attention
Asher is sort of out of her league
I don't know, Lear is very caring so she would get upset about Tristan being hurt.

Haha that is a good question. My guess is because even after all the crap she put him through he feels extraordinarily wanted. He feels loved and hopes that maybe one day he can fix whatever is broken inside of her. Even if it means being broken too. It's a messed up Joker and Harley situation and I'm a sadist .

yeah that's a little messed up... no one deserves to be abused and feel like that's what they need to endure to be wanted 
I feel like Asher harrasses Lear because its funny to get a reaction from her. and i don't mean he touches her inappropiately, I mean he is at his most insufferably gaudy when she's around. this makes her both uncomfortable and eventually annoyed XD

I agree, even though I made them. Ira does love him but is definitely a cruel person who pulled him into her world. I wonder what kind of ending these two may have. I have been thinking a redemption story and there is a side arc I want to write for them eventually.

I am not sure yet; I created my seven sins two years ago and just recently came back to flesh them out. Even for super villains, I kinda get torn between making them happy or making them tragic. I do know that I have a fight scene planned out for the OTP 30 Day challenge, a make up scene, as well as a marriage/elopement scene. I do have more plans beyond Birth of a Sin with them and the other 5 sins. The other five sins need some lovin' too!

that is a bit of a dilemma i'm sure. lol i feel that way about my background characters, honestly. but i never have the motivation to so much as doodle them.
well, you can't see the images in my head or see the frustration i go through to put even a crude resemblance of my imagination on paper. its so hard.

Uhhh Ohh boy mostly anime and comics. For this group in particular, I was really inspired by Batman villains; even the hero (who I have yet to draw) is somewhat Batman inspired.
It's been warm here too. Oof.

Ira is confident in Tristan's loyalty and wouldn't get mad if he got a hug from Lear (there is one person she absolutely will not allow a hug). She would get annoyed if he gave away a treat without her trying it first tho'.

I like both Marvel and DC but...I do have a weakness for some of DCs' heroes.

She is Wrath though her triggers are lack of respect, weakness (in herself and others), horrible memories...and no chocolate.

Aww and thus the contrast between Tristan and Lear, "Of course not but maybe that's the beauty of it, that unpredictable chaos. Also if feelings are so fleeting, why not wait till they pass? Unless they keep coming back? 
Ira is ruthless so any sympathy and/or empathy for enemies is definitely a weakness. She sometimes talks a big game about certain feelings being a weakness, but she is willing to go to very extreme lengths to protect her brother, Tristan, and other members of her family.
Tristan successfully distracted her. All appears well.

I think it's creative how it seems like Lust is the man and Wrath and the woman, I don't usually see it that way. The colors are very lovely and calming. They're saturated without looking too overdone, and you've really got that sunset effect down. I really like her hair and dress, and the eye is very much drawn to her because she has the most warm and saturated palette in the picture. But it also doesn't feel like the man is getting lost because he's on top of her and their limbs are intertwined.
I like the details of his scars and the cute little heart he's got carved on his cheek, adds to the "lust" aspect of his character.
I also really like the background because it's soft and lineless but still fits the style of the characters, so neither one looks out of place together. The lighting makes sense with the character.
There's only two major problems I see. 1. Even though they're lying flat on the ground, the way their bodies are angled makes them look like they're kind of sinking into the ground. 2. The man's forearm looks a little too short and his hand looks a little too small in proportion to the rest of his body.

Thank you for your comment! I really liked having the sins switched around; when I first came up with these sins, immediately Wrath became a red haired woman reminiscent of Boadicea (but obviously not Celtic) and Lust being male (and an idealized one too). I am so pleased with how my colors turned out and I like how both Ira and Tristan stand out on their own in the image! The background was fun to do and I like that they seem integrated with the characters.
Yeah...*sigh* I had a few anatomy issues, ugh. Things I need to catch in the sketch phase. Happy with the overall result though!

Oof that mark is one that Tristan got after he joins the family. I'm not sure how to write it out but either way Ira is responsible for it, making him as hers.
