Description This is an Updated Scarborough Transit Design Based on Recently Released Transit Plans and other Transit Ideas.
Only Go Transit and the Bloor Extension show All Stations.

Bloor Line: Under Ontario Premiere Doug Ford's New Transit Plan There is a Three Stop Extension with stops at Lawrence, Scarborough Town Center and McCowan.

Sheppard Extension: Under Ontario Premiere Doug Ford's New Transit Plan the Sheppard Subway would be Extended Eastbound to Connect to the Bloor Line Extension at McCowan. Whether it is to be two separate Lines or Become One Continuous Line with no Transfers I don't Know.

Sheppard LRT: With no Mention by Doug Ford of Further Extension East of a Subway on Sheppard I have Placed the LRT to Continue the Journey Across Sheppard to Meadowvale with a link to the Toronto Zoo and with Part of the Line being Used for the Eglinton East LRT. From the Station at Meadowvale it's a 15 Minute bus Ride to the Rouge Hill GO Station using the Current 85a Sheppard East Bus which would Become its own Route, the 136 Rouge Hill Bus.

Scarborough Express: What was Limited Service on the Stouffville Line would Become All Day Frequent Two-Way Commuter Service Between Downtown at Union and the Border Between Scarborough and Markham. With Trains Running Every 15 Minutes it would provide Fast and Reliable Transit for the Residents of Scarborough. Plus with GO Transit Promising Cheaper Fares for Trips Around 10km or Less it Makes it More Affordable for Low Income Families.

Eglinton East LRT: Lately it Sounds like this Line is no Longer a Priority when it Should be. It would Provide Faster and Reliable Transit for People in Areas already Dealing with Overcrowded Buses and Long Commutes. The Line Provides a Connection to Two GO Train Stations, the University of Toronto Scarborough Campus, Malvern Town Center, the Sheppard LRT and the Durham-Scarborough BRT. If Ford can Support a Westbound Extension on Eglinton, Why not an East One Too?

Durham-Scarborough BRT: This Dedicated Bus Lane would Provide Fast and Reliable Transit for People in Scarborough and would be a Link to Cities Eastward. The Line Runs from Scarborough Town Center to Oshawa via Ellesmere and HWY 2 and would Connect with the Eglinton East LRT. A Similar Dedicated Bus Lane is already Being Built on HWY 7 in York Region.

Toronto Zoo Shuttle: Instead of Several Bus Routes having Temporary Extensions Past Meadowvale there Should be an Official Shuttle Route from the Future Meadowvale LRT Station to the Toronto Zoo. It would be a Sole TTC Vehicle whose Frequency would be Based on the Time of Year and Visitation Rate. One Way is Only a 5 Minute Trip.

Scarborough is in Great Need of Better Transit and has Been for Years and Should no Longer be Ignored by Politicians.

I Once Heard that Scarborough Had 20% of Toronto's Population, but only 5% of it's Transit System, That Needs to Change.
