Ok, so I see you are in the Army. I'm guessing when you get shot at and don't want to die, you don't pray that you are keep safe? Things happen for a reason and you being kept safe is one of the many wonders of our merciful Lord. Just think about it like this. You are out to battle. You feel as if no one is there to protect you as bullets whizz by you. There is on person that is always on your side and will protect you. No matter what you've done or what you will do. He loves you no matter what and wants you to be in HIS army. I just hope one day you will find him and keep him close to your heart. I know it can seem make-believe since ALOT of people believe in something they can't see but that's what faith is all about. I normally don't comment on people's comments like this but for some reason, you have just rubbed me wrong.

And I respectively disagree with you on this subject. I've been to battle, the whole sha-bang. I've had bullets whiz by my head and not once did i think, "O' Lord where art thou?" You are believing in a fantasy story. It's like this, if the Harry Potter books survive for 6,000+ years will people be pawned into believing it was once real like the fairy tale bullshit the bible feeds everyone? That's bullshit. If he "loves" everyone & strikes down evil with lightning and all that fancy shizz than why did he let Stahlin & Hitler jump on the boat of failing evil? Also religion DOESN'T HELP ANYONE if anything it's made my familie's life a living hell. RELIGION, ESPECIALLY CHRISTIANITY has rubbed my family completely wrong, they picketed my DEAD BROTHER's funeral because we refused a priest as atheists & they bitched on my mother in the church saying she shouldn't have children.
Religion is a rediculous notion & I believe it pretty much the equivalent of believing in a flying monster made of noodles & soup.

to you it's a load of bullshit; to me, it answers the questions of the human spirit.
Science can only explain so much and do so much for us but it cannot heal, feed, or cleanse the human soul. It can only explain why the physical world is the way it is; it cannot explain the true meaning of love nor can it set moral guidelines one should follow (i.e. Thou shalt not kill) because those help the world from being thrown into chaos and help us become closer. But, I do admit, intolerance is widespread and we all think that others should believe what we believe. All I can say on my behalf is that I believe God loves everyone, no matter what.

Honestly, I wasn't attacking any one religion. I think it's all man-made BS. People are entitled to their own beliefs, as am I. Even if I believed in the so-called "God" or "Jesus Christ", I would be struck down and sent to hell immediately, and well it hasn't happened yet. I violate 1 of the 10 commandments everyday, serving my country and killing the SOB's that attacked, and still attacks us everyday. I have read the bible. And i still don't believe a single "story" that is in it. I'm entitled to my opinion, as are you. Please don't try to convert my ways or my beliefs. I will find out at one point if there is a high being. Until then, I will continue my life. As will you. Good day.
