Description
Hello everyone
How many of you have read American paleontologist Robert T. Bakker's novel "Raptor Red" before?
To those who have, I have some very intriguing news for you;Β
As this is my final year in animation class at my college, and that we must choose a year-long project to work on, I decided to do a 2D rendition of the novel, in the style of some of Disney's and DreamWork's traditional animation films, while incorporating the latest scientific knowledge that has been learned about the world of Raptor Red into it.
With the added guidance of the discoverer of the main dinosaur of this book Utahraptor, American paleontologists Jim Kirkland
Here's a preview of the size chart of some of the creatures I've made for my Raptor Red project so far
What do you guys think of it?

Only their most accurate counterparts
for instance, the Astrodon will be replaced by Moabosaurus
Acrocanthosaurus will be replaced by a Neovenatorid carnosaur, since European dinosaurs were migrating to and from North America

Moabosaurus, eh?
This Neovenatorid have a name, or no?
Regardless, I'd love to see 'em!

based on living raptors (birds of prey) like hawks, falcons and eagles, where the females are larger than the males
now it's only speculation in dinosaurs so far, but it could be possible for some

Fair enough. I asked because we have zero evidence of dinosaurs sexes being different sizes.
Great artwork BTW.

plus, the new male consort of hers was called her "young consort", which could mean he's a little younger than her
