New Zi-O is a version of Sougo who lives in an apocalyptic amalgam world composed of other Kamen Rider Worlds that have since been destroyed. Seeking the power of Oma Zi-O after the original Sougo surrendered his to restore the worlds destroyed by Swartz's plot, other Riders and monsters attempted to claim that power and use it to reshape the world they occupy into their own image. New Zi-O obtained a fraction of the former Demon King's power, manifested into a sword.
