Nobu Ozu is the cousin of the Ozu family and the youngest of family being only 10 years old. His family work hard on keeping the Time Element alive in the world of magic for years, by giving the title of Silver Mage to those in the family who holds strong traces of magic and train them in the ways of using it properly, to further his growth as the Silver Mage he was sent to live with his cousins to learn from them, after sneaking aboard the Travelion in Kyoto and when Kirakage's device was destroyed, he transforms into MagiSilver which was Nobu 10 years in the future, with the help of his cousins and Hikaru, they slain the Hades Beastman and continued their time around Kyoto.

In 1986/1987 Matthew participated in the great battle in his Legend Warrior form, after the long war was over it seemed like Matthew died in battle, however while he was in the Tribunal of Magic prior to the Great Battle, he foresaw that the battle will end in defeat for the side of good. The Tribunal of Magic gave him the order to sleep for 20/19 years, So during the battle Matthew used all his magic to seal himself in a time stasis on Earth, years later when Imperious used Jenji to erase the Power Rangers from history Matthew was awakened pre maturely, however he was still able to transform since his magic acts as a catalyst for him to still able to transform, but with his long sleep drained him his original magical strength so he only able to transform into a normal ranger form. Fortunately for him when the other rangers are given their own Legendary Warrior forms the Tribunal of Magic restores him to his original strength for him to be able to fight with the other rangers, after the battle he decides to be an ally in the battle and a mentor to them about how to use the Legend Warrior for properly,
