-Lore Story (Super Sentai):

The Demon Lord Nobunaga has risen from the dead. With an army of Youkai under his command, Nobunaga set off to conquer Japan anew, only this time, by traveling to a specific point of time. To prevent Nobunaga's ambition from taking root again, the Kyoryu clan has also built a time machine, and picked five ninjas to harness the power of the dinosaurs and the ability to travel through time. Thus the tale of Timenin begins.

- Character Story (Super Sentai):

Akatsukimaru Kuroryu is the Yojinbo, or bodyguard of the Kyoryu clan. His ancestors have guarded the Kyoryu Daimyo for generations since the Sengoku Period. Having taken up his ancestral morph item, the BushidoShuriken, he now fights the revived Nobunaga and his Youkai minions alongside his fellow Timeninja.

Millions of years ago, when dinosaurs ruled the Earth, a race of aliens called Youkarns sought to invade, but five dinosaurs, each of different species, were chosen by Izanagi to become the first Shinobisaurs. They successfully fought back against the Youkarns, ensuring the Earth's future. Now, 66 million years later, the Youkarns have returned to Earth, with every intention to finish what they started. And so, five human beings, each of different nations, were chosen by Amaterasu, Izanagi's daughter, to become the next generation Shinobisaurs.

- Character Story (Power Rangers):

Takumi Hashira is the latest descendant of the Hinokami clan, which has protected Japan in secret from Youkarn spies. Now that the Youkarn attempts a second conquest, and the first five Shinobisaurs were chosen, Takumi had to take his ancestral Morpher, the Golden Fossil Shuriken, into battle. He now joins the Shinobisaurs as the Shinobisaur Gold.
