I absolutely adore beautiful fanworks like such.
The shading and technique you used are brilliant. Though, there shows some careless shading scribbles on the jacket. My suggestion is that if you were getting bored with this, it's time to take a bit of a break. If it was not, that's ok. I also absolutely love the expression, the calm sense of joy I get from it. It's really a nice piece, and being a tradiotnal artist, It'd take me a while to achieve something like this. But I know I can probably learn a thing ot two from you just by this piece. It's beautiful. Excellent work.

Was this Oil or Acrylic. Looks like Acrylic.
well to start off it is definitely a job well done. His eyes are a perfect shade of chocolaty brown and his hair a slightly lighter shade of that, the only thing i think needs some slight improvement is actually a really minor detail. His shoes. the black is amazingly well done but i think the white you used for the shine is a bit to bright in contrast to the black that it is used on, possibly a more gray color should've been used. Also, his fingers on his left hand (right from our perspective) they are squished towards the sleeve. other than those two things, it is 5 stars for everything.
