What's an Eridan?

. . . What's a Homestuck?

This was lots of fun! I would have put "for Ryoflame" instead of "Ryo's" in the title, but it wouldn't fit.

I don't really know much about this character. I don't know what Homestuck would be defined as either, a game? A web comic?

I'd never heard of it until I joined tumblr, and it seems like lots of people there like it . . .

--Don't get me wrong: That doesn't bother me at all because the characters seem cute and interesting. And this was superfun to draw, like I said! (Though I might like to revisit this sometime and change his mouth because he's got a super dorky unflattering expression going on [I just really wanted to draw his teeth but wasn't in a clenched teeth sort of mode, ha.])

Anyway, it's for the wonderful Ryoflame.

AND AND AND- I used this awesome stock by ~reiko-stocks , Zephyr - Punk 01: [link]

(I'm working with stock as references a lot lately- it shortens the time it takes for me to do things and the images come out better and I'm learning anatomy etc to a deeper level.)

If you know any Homestuck (or other) groups here where this would belong, please submit it if you'd like (I'd like; but if you'd like. ).

So . . . Like 3.5 hours in Photoshop?

edit. Oh shit! There's a big mistake!

Lately my tablet freaks sometimes and even though I've lifted the pen, it makes a mark . . . It did that with the smear thing across the lower part (across his wrist and leg!). I was too busy pondering his mouth to notice, ha ha ha!

edit. It's been awhile since I did this (in internet years anyway ) . . . I've since then started reading Homestuck and now I'm not entirely sure he fits my vision of Eridan, now that I almost have one . . . Oh well.
