Okay ive been in english school for years but my english still isnt the best

onerous: heavy, crushing, grievous; irksome, galling. (sort of like my poetry)

are you kidding? i love french and the sound of it, and i'd love to have it as my first language.
english, french, it's all latin anyway.
really, writing is just nouns, verbs, etc... just put them together with their junk attached.
