I've been looking back on this textured minimalist period; and though I liked a lot of the pieces, most of them felt like I could push them further. So this year has been the year of reworking some of my older work and giving them new life. This also became a bit of an experimental piece as a result of this rework. I didn't have many elements to work with so I incorporated large blocks of color and shading to give a bit more depth. I'll probably be exploring this some more with other pieces new and old.
Can't wait to get a better photo of this.
