I know I said I wasn't planning on making any more circle paintings, but when you are commissioned to do so you go ahead and make more. I enjoyed this painting a lot. The blues were great to work with and it really came together quickly. I like when that happens.
This is a bit similar to a previous painting that I did, and yes, it's quite similar.
It's intentional as I used Sapphire as inspiration and I now consider Sapphire to be a bit of a sketch. I still like it, but I've always felt that I was missing something with it.
