I love axolotls! They're just the right combination of cute and weird and they always have derpy little smiles on their faces. They cheer me right up!

I wanted to represent all of the different colors of axolotls in this illustration, but adding black axolotls somehow made the piece look unbalanced, so I decided to leave them out. It made me super sad because black axolotls are adorable. I would like to revisit this theme some day so that I can draw some black axolotls.
