No, it's okay- it's all very vague- and open to the viewer ideas-
In my mind- at the start he's giving Vron to go ahead- with a 40 second minimum she can be down there.
And on the surface- he's saying something along the lines of 'be careful' for the rest of the round.

I did kinda made it that Vron had met Orrin and Victor in my post-R2 comic, instead (that should have occurred after Vron's realization). Though I think it's up to you if you consider it canon.
And yeah, I can totally see them becoming friends immediately.
