Had a bit of time, experimenting a bit with unusual colors and unusual style, unusual at least for me, trying to give the composition a bit more room to breathe.Illustrator, 1,5 hours.

I love this! is this CS2? if you don't mind me asking, how do you get that look of pattern underneath it all? is it all done with little circles and lines and stuff?

Thank you. This was done in CS1, the tiny circles and all are mostly made using the brush tool, but there are many objects too, made with pathfinder, and some typo. The whole is masked finally with the white face to get the result you see in the finished piece.

i like the colours and detail but i think the composition lets it down a tad. nonetheless, nice work.

It can always get better, for sure, but I liked the spontanity in this one, normally I work like days on my pieces, this one was about 1.5 hours, so I just took it as it was, with all the imperfections it's got.

Whoa! Maybe I don't get out enough or something, but this has gotta be one of the most unique pieces made with illo, in that it totally looks like a collage.
