Ok...my first attempt at icon creation. Be kind
I really like the GIMP software. They are making great strides for opensource.
I currently use a windows port of "GIMPshop" which replicates photoshop's setup
so you don't have to re-configure your brain for shortcuts and menu placements. Very cool.
This is a large (256x256) hand-drawn icon using the orignal GIMP icon for reference.
