i was kinda in the middle being a bystander and a protester
i supported protesting the war in iraq (which in this case was the anniversary(sp?) both the troops from the UK and the US being there)
but i was also doing a project about London (I chose to document the protests) and i was told to remain univolved although in the end i participated to a small degree (walked around with some free protest signs)

This particular seen was depicting the whole Abu Ghraib prison scandal

Were you a part of this protest or just a bystander? If you were a part of it can you tell me a little about the cause? This may sound weird, but I'd love to learn more about this. Especially since I feel incredibly ignorant now, finding out that the UK has troops in Iraq, too. I thought us here in the US were the only ones getting screwed. Guess not. Anyways, in a way, what I'm trying to say is: Care to elaborate?
