This weeks OverKill is about how AWFUL Operation Raccoon City was. I had done a comic already on the subject, but man, I feel we needed some clarification. *I'd just like to clarify that I have nothing against Capcom. I love Capcom, but this game (which was developed by Slant 6) is a disgrace to the Resident Evil Series. It was a let down, and hopefully we can all look past this crap and get pumped for Resident Evil 6! Yeah!

You serious? Lol it has a 3 hour story mode that is made for co op play. all games out this year and before are usually 6-12 hours long. This game has tons of glitches and bugs. It's made for online. The AI is incredibly stupid if you play alone. You must of been playing a lot of none main stream games. Anyone who thinks this game is worth the money love to be robbed. It's a good game just not worth its price.

Did you play it for a great singly player experience? I'd argue that you robbed yourself. I knew it was multiplayer. I bought myself and my friends copies of the game, and we have a blast playing it.
I haven't noticed these game ending glitches that people seem to keep raging about. More all i see is lag issues from people with bad connections.
Dunno what the main stream comment is supposed to mean, but i own every us release of resident evil so...

I played it for the online and single. The game is terrible only because the lack of content and anyone who thinks this game is great is in denial because this game is the biggest robbery of any Resident Evil game released. Capcom got really greedy with this game and limited slant six.
Nothing to do with connections on this game the servers are horrible and it pairs you with random people around the world. You have no perfences when you're looking for a game like main stream games
The fact they released a game that wasn't finished then have the nerv to add 35 dollars worth of DLC. It's robbery. NO make youtubers or video gameplay uploaders even bother with this game anymore. The dlc's are a scam aswell because they dont work online (Map pack 1)

I haven't had any problem with the dlc, and if you feel its a scam then pray tell what dlc isn't? It's a full campaign of add on content, culminating in an epic final boss battle.
Is it such an obscene notion to you that this game is actually good and you just don't enjoy it? I see the same nonsense pop up every time a new resident evil game comes out, with the exception of resident evil revelations. Which in it's irony is actually a really boring game with a completely pointless final boss fight and terrible story. Not only in delivery but in substance.
I don't think anyone is saying this game is supposed to be resident evil 6, or even on the same caliber. It's just to be a fun mp game.
As far as i'm concerned the dlc is a hell of a lot better then say... mvc dlc color schemes... 90% of the dlc from most japanese games... or even call of duties 15$ map packs.

The DLC is a rip off because the game was obviously rushed. I enjoy the online only. The story of the USS feels like a training mode for online and the Spec ops is worth it but it should of been on the disk already. Sounds like you'll spend money on a game that's unfinished either way. Capcom always rob their fans.
If you think it's a great game then that's you. It's a horrible uncompleted game. The final boss of the DLC was boring and easy. The Achievements are easy. The game is terrible and again is made just for online.. It's not completed and they released a uncompleted game then add on another 35 dollars worth of DLC.. The DLC is AMAZING but it should of been on the DISK already. Game is a robbery and had more potential. If you think its smart to spend $10 on a uncompleted game for each new DLC... then lol.. The first pack was challenging but the maps dont work online for xbox. second pack is worth the 800 but the boss could of been more fun and more challenging. I rest, this game is the worst RE i've ever played and seems to be made just for online. Spec ops dlc rocks but its a robbery

Seems you're dead set on hating capcom which leads me to wonder why you keep buying their games? Obviously you're already biased against them with comments like "they always rob their fans" when it's only really been the case with their fighting development teams, such as tekken x capcom.
They do have a very wide range of games out there, covering every genre. Are you going to tell me that every single one of their games is digital theft of our money?
I can accept that people don't like the game, that's all well and good. But when people start labeling things as "the worst in existence" then i wonder just how the hell high their standards are.

I dont hate capcom. I'm stopping the converstion here because you can't stand that someone says that came is crap. IF you think its good then thats your problem. Capcom? Slant six made the game. Capcom limited them, Capcom have been greedy since MvC3. They're robbing you by releasing uncompleted games. You dont understand because you LIKE the crappy game. The game for a FACT is not worth the money and you can talk to any reasonable person about it.

Yeah this game sounds like a very fanfiction in which our beloved characters couldn't do anything and got killed/saved by another rambo teams who just bursted in from nowhere and be hero.

I loved when my teammate would die and you would try to revive them but you would keep picking up their weapon instead....THAT ONE WAS FUN! lol
I think it's really fun to play with friends though, despite the fact that the game seemed a little rushed to get into production.

It just really wasn't the game I expected it to be. Watching my team mates stand in fire and run into bombs is funny around friends, and all the design flaws and lack of care... eh. The ending was such a bust. But it WAS fun with a friend, and some scenes were cool. Glad you liked the comic!

Very true, one thing I thought was kinda stupid was that there was no local multilayer. The plot was rather thin and not there, and sometimes the AI is dumb as a sack of bricks XD I don't know why I like it. I guess its just a matter of what you call a serious problem >.> anywho. I hope you get your 60 bucks back, uhhh. Somehow.
