Thought I'd give this one a little story:

"I still remember the day they took me away from my mother.
A huge GeneCop dragging me away from her, as the snipers took their sight. My mother and me screaming and crying, the last try to get a grip.
I don't know what happened to her after the mutations began. Only one thing is for sure. The same Genes that changed my mother reside in me.
Maybe I will end up just like her, maybe I'll find a way out of the prison the cops locked me in for more than 5 years now. Maybe I'll live. Maybe I'll die. One way or the other, I will see my mum again and the days of sorrow will end."
